The General Authority of Civil Aviation in the State of Kuwait announced, through official spokesman Abdullah Al-Rajhi, that a drone targeted Kuwait International Airport, resulting in minor injuries to a number of workers, in addition to limited material damage to the passenger terminal (T1).
The spokesman explained that the competent authorities immediately began implementing the approved emergency procedures, where the accident was dealt with and the site was secured, and evaluation and treatment work is currently continuing and rearranging operational operations in accordance with the highest safety standards.
The situation is under complete control by the concerned authorities
The authority confirmed that the situation is under complete control by the relevant authorities in the country, and that the safety of travelers and workers is a top priority.
The authority added that it will provide the media with any developments as soon as they become available through official channels.
