Journalist Muhammad Tariq Adah celebrated the qualification of the Iraqi national team to the 2026 World Cup finals for the second time in its history and the first in 40 years after its victory over Bolivia by two goals to one in the final of the second track of the global qualifiers.
Muhammad Ada said, during the “Match” program, on the “Sada El Balad” channel, “How beautiful it is to wake up to the news that Iraq has qualified for the World Cup.. Frankly, I could not stay up late and stayed up and watched the match and everyone was on their nerves until Iraq won.”
He continued, saying: “It was a pleasant surprise that Iraq succeeded in defeating Bolivia and qualifying for the World Cup.”
He added: “I am very happy that Iraq has qualified for the World Cup. Iraq went through very difficult circumstances, but the Iraqi national team succeeded in returning to the World Cup after an absence of 40 years.”
