The security services in Menoufia Governorate are investigating the death of a 17-year-old student, after she arrived at Al-Bajour Specialized Hospital in a state of complete cardiac arrest. Doctors tried to revive her, but she died, while the medical team noticed abnormal traces around her neck, which raised doubts about the circumstances of the death.
Investigation into the death of a student in Menoufia
Major General Alaa Al-Jahir, Director of Menoufia Security, received notification of the arrival of the body of a deceased teenage student, and a security force immediately moved to the hospital to find out the details of the incident and question her family, while taking the necessary legal measures.
Initial information about the death of a student in Menoufia
Initial information revealed that the student was taken to the hospital by her family after she was found inside their home in the village of Al-Sarohit, in the Menouf District District, in a critical condition, before doctors announced her death following resuscitation attempts that did not succeed in restoring her pulse.
The student’s father explained, according to his initial account to the doctors, that the family entered the balcony of the house while she was hanging a curtain, and found her in that condition, noting that they rushed to take her to the hospital in an attempt to save her.
In view of the presence of abnormal marks around the neck, the doctors requested that the case be officially confirmed at the hospital police station, which in turn informed the Menouf Police Station, which is affiliated with the student’s place of residence, so that the security authorities began examining the circumstances of the incident and listening to the family’s statements.
A force moved from the police station to the hospital, and the body was kept inside the hospital’s mortuary at the disposal of the investigating authorities, until the examination was completed and the necessary legal measures were taken, and a clarification of whether the death resulted from a criminal suspicion or not.
