Details of Alexandria neighborhood campaigns

The Montazah neighborhood carried out the first major campaign to remove building violations in the Ras Al-Souda area, where 5 illegal fences erected on vacant lands were removed, with a total area estimated at about 1,600 square metres, with the violations completely removed, and all legal measures taken against the violators.

Within the scope of the second Montazah neighborhood, several expanded campaigns were launched in a number of areas, including the streets of Al-Taqwa Mosque, 16, 6, and 10 Advisors in Tousson, in addition to Ezb Al-Rahmana, Al-Prince, Karmala, and Hod 10.

The campaigns resulted in stopping illegal construction work in the cradle, dismantling wooden forms, and removing illegal columns and walls, with all violations being referred to the Engineering Department to take the necessary legal measures.

Within the Central neighborhood, campaigns were carried out in the tenth village of Abis, which resulted in halting the illegal construction work in the cradle (columns on the first floor and works on the second floor), dismantling and removing the wooden formwork and fences in violation, and referring the violations to the engineering department to take legal measures.

Within the Amriya Awal neighborhood, a number of building violations were monitored and stopped without a permit, including the work of constructing rooms inside a factory in the Nubaria area, in addition to halting the work of demolition and illegal finishes. Cases of immediate removal of illegal buildings and encroachments were carried out on state-owned lands in the areas of Abdul Qadir, Qashou, and Nag al-Arji, on different areas.

Violating construction work was also monitored and stopped inside a medical facility in Taiba Village (1) in the Al Nahda area, in addition to removing multiple spatial variables, while taking the necessary legal measures against the violators.

Within the Al-Ajami neighborhood, an extensive campaign was carried out that resulted in the demolition of a ground floor building erected without a license on an area of ​​150 square meters, with the utilities completely cut off, in addition to the removal of walls surrounding vacant lands and the columns of an upper fourth floor, and taking the necessary legal measures.

In the center and city of Burj Al-Arab, several campaigns were implemented to remove spatial changes and encroachments, as walls and barriers were removed in the village of Al-Gharbaniyat, in addition to the immediate removal of illegal houses and fences in the villages of Bahij and Nag Al-Qawasim, on various areas, as part of efforts to combat random construction.

The Governor of Alexandria confirmed that the executive agencies are continuing to implement campaigns to immediately remove any encroachments or building violations, stressing that any violation will not be tolerated, and that deterrent legal measures will be taken against violators, in order to preserve the state’s prestige and rights, and to achieve urban discipline.

Alexandria Governorate called on citizens to adhere to building laws and requirements, and not to initiate any work without obtaining the necessary licenses, to avoid exposure to legal accountability.
