Sadat City in Menoufia Governorate witnessed the implementation of intensive campaigns to remove encroachments and building violations, as part of an urgent plan aimed at eliminating slums and restoring the civilized appearance and discipline within the city.

These campaigns come in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and within the framework of the new Urban Communities Authority plan to address all forms of violations and prevent the spread of randomness, as the head of the Sadat City Development Authority, Mohamed Adel Anwar, assigned the executive agencies to intensify field campaigns and immediately deal with any violations.
In this context, the agency’s Development Department launched an expanded campaign in coordination with the Security, Public Relations, and Cleaning Departments, and with the participation of the Construction Police, Utilities Police, and neighborhood heads, aimed at removing occupancy and violations in a number of areas of the city, especially the Eighth District.
The campaign resulted in the removal of random unlicensed rooms and buildings, in addition to removing illegal occupancies, and taking the necessary legal measures against violators, within the framework of enforcing the law and restoring discipline in the streets and residential areas.
The head of the Sadat City Development Authority confirmed that the campaigns continue on a daily basis, stressing that the agency will not tolerate any violations, and they will be dealt with as soon as they are monitored, in cooperation with the security authorities and competent departments, in order to preserve the city’s civilized appearance.
The agency appealed to citizens and owners of commercial activities to adhere to the conditions of privatization and licenses, stressing that any violation will be dealt with immediately, with the necessary legal measures taken without exception, within the framework of preserving public order and achieving quality of life within the city.
