He explained that those responsible for the endowments are carrying out a cleaning campaign inside the mosques and the surrounding areas, the roofs of the mosques, the electricity, the maintenance of the loudspeakers, maintenance and disinfection campaigns for the bathrooms and ablution places, and working to provide complete comfort for visitors to the houses of God Almighty. Praise be to God, in rejoicing in the blessed month of Ramadan, coordination is underway to decorate the major and main mosques in all cities with Ramadan decorations and for children to participate in celebrating the month of Ramadan.

Sheikh Al-Sayyid Ghait revealed that all 94 mosques with imams will perform Tarawih prayers, and 29 mosques have been prepared in various cities of the governorate in which Tahajjud prayers will be performed, and 9 mosques in the governorate’s cities will be allocated for seclusion so that people can be alone with God and satisfy their state of faith and spirituality.
He pointed out that a table will be held for the guests of God in the old Al-Salam Mosque in the capital, Mount Sinai, supervised by the South Sinai Endowments Directorate.
He pointed out that Tarawih prayers will be held without loudspeakers, and there are clear instructions from the ministry that Tarawih and Tahajjud prayers will be performed without loudspeakers, and will be performed using the internal speakers of each mosque, in order to preserve the comfort of people and patients, while loudspeakers will be allocated for the call to prayer and Friday prayers, and whoever violates this will expose himself to legal accountability.
The most important directives for imams and sheikhs of mosques
Regarding the most prominent directives, Sheikh Al-Sayyid Ghait said: We are very keen for mosques to be a meeting place for spirituality and faith, and for people to feel that they are inside the houses of God, meaning that they feel comfortable inside the mosque to perform their prayers and supplications in a way that satisfies them.
He explained that the first directive is to ensure the comfort of worshipers, to treat them well, not to disturb them, to provide the appropriate atmosphere for worship, to make them feel the spirituality of the month of Ramadan, to maintain the cleanliness of the mosque and continuous sterilization, not to prolong the evening prayer or Tarawih prayer, to open mosques throughout the day and not just during prayer, to hold all advocacy and religious activities, and to hold educational lessons.
