The local units in the Qena Center continue their intensive efforts to remove encroachments on state-owned lands and agricultural lands, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, and the instructions of Mr. Ashraf Anwar, head of the local unit of the Center, within the framework of the state’s plan aimed at preserving the agricultural area and preserving public property from any encroachments.
Removing encroachments on state property
In this context, local units in a number of the center’s villages were able to implement a number of removal decisions, including various cases of encroachment on agricultural and state lands.
In the village of Abnoud, 3 cases of removal of encroachments on agricultural land with an area of 2 and a half karats were carried out, under the supervision of Muhammad Yousry, the village head, who confirmed continued follow-up to prevent the recurrence of violations.
As for the village of Ouled Amr, a case of removing an encroachment on agricultural land with an area of 18 shares was carried out, under the supervision of Mohamed Saleh, the village head, as part of the village’s efforts to confront any new violations.
In the village of Dandara, a case of unauthorized removal of Samlat excavations on an area of 90 square meters was carried out, under the supervision of Hasiba Serageldin, the head of the village, who stressed that legal measures would be taken against violators.
Ashraf Anwar, head of the local unit of the center and city of Qena, confirmed that the instructions of Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, and Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, stress the necessity of dealing immediately and decisively with all forms of infringements, and taking the necessary legal measures to preserve public money and the prestige of the state.
He pointed out that the campaigns are continuing on a daily basis in all the villages of the center without let up, to ensure that the encroachments do not return again, and to support the state’s efforts to protect its resources and preserve its property.
