The management of the Egyptian Club of Port Said has finally ended its agreement with coach Imad El-Nahhas, the former coach of Al-Ahly, to take over the leadership of the Egyptian club’s first football team during the next stage, succeeding Tunisian coach Nabil El-Kouki, who apologized for not continuing to lead the team in light of the decline in results in the recent period.

Cairo 24 learned that Imad Al-Nahhas will lead the Al-Masry team’s training starting today, provided that his supporting staff with the Port Said team includes Mohamed Mohsen Abu Greisha as general coach, along with Mohamed Fathi as goalkeeper coach.

Hours ago, the coach opened Imad Al-Nahhas, The door is open to assuming the technical leadership of the Egyptian club, Port Said, describing it as a “big club” in which any coach would be honored to work.

In response to news of his current signing for the team, Al-Nahhas denied, in television statements, the existence of any official communication up to this moment, saying: “I am with you now and there is nothing official, but I will be very happy with this step.”

Al-Nahhas added that if he takes over the job, he will face Al-Ahly with the ambition of winning, stressing that the stadium only recognizes effort among adults.

The Al-Masry team lost 4-1 to Zamalek in the match that was held yesterday at Burj Al-Arab Stadium, within the first round of the group to determine the league champion for the 2025-2026 season.
