Scriptwriter Mohamed Sayed Bashir revealed the scenes behind the participation of the artist Angie El Mokadem in the series “The Mona Lisa,” starring the artist Mai Omar, which was shown in the last Ramadan race in 2026, explaining that many of the real events with the real character were deleted so that he could present her in the drama.

Mohamed Sayed Bashir said, in his interview with Cairo 24: The character that I presented removed many things from the real story so that it could be advanced, and in the drama there are things that were removed from the role.

Muhammad Sayed Bashir continued: The first time we were sitting together, she told me what this character was doing. I went and told her on the phone and she couldn’t believe it anymore. How can a woman say “my birthday” every time she meets someone and take a gift and stay with him or not? And the character was making up for what she missed because she was spoiled and became a multi-relationship character.
