The artist, Laila Taher, expressed her great happiness and pride in being honored by Mrs. Intisar Al-Sisi. Wife of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in appreciation of her dramatic career.
Laila Taher said, in an exclusive statement to Cairo 24: I was very happy with this honor from the president’s wife. Even my legs were tired and I couldn’t go to the stage, and she was gracious and came down to meet me and stand with me and be gracious without me going on stage out of respect for her. I am honored that my country is honoring me after a long history that I have done, and this made me feel that I had done something worthy of honor.
Intisar Al-Sisi honors female stars in appreciation for their dramatic works
Mrs. Intisar El-Sisi, wife of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, honored a number of female artists. In appreciation of their dramatic works, including: the distinguished artist Suhair Al-Morshedy, the artist Laila Taher, in addition to the artist Hanan Soliman, among a number of honorable models during the Egyptian Women’s Day celebration, which was held yesterday, in conjunction with the advent of International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8 of each year.
