Actress Sarah Salama revealed the scenes of her participation in the series “Souda Point” and that she was subjected to a lot of criticism because of the appearance of the character she presents during the events of the series.
Sarah Salama said during television statements: There was an attack on me at the time of the Black Point series. There is no specific person who carried out this campaign. The character in the series has one role, provocative and evil as well. I play a role and perform it, and it is not the nature of my life to live like this with makeup. The series is one of the most difficult works I have ever done in my life, and the circumstances of filming it were different. I was filming in Lebanon and there was a war going on, and we were hearing missiles at the time of filming.
Sarah Salama continued: They said I changed my features and something. I was very upset and I have no problem with criticism, but it should be in a respectful manner. Why be insulting!? In the end, we are human beings and I would like to do something, and of course, if there is any defect around me, many people will alert me, and the makeup will do a million things to it.
Sarah Salama commented on her confinement to certain roles since her appearance and entry into acting, saying: I do not know that people were focused on me from the moment I started acting. I do not know that this is the focus of more people, and it is possible that I started at a young age. I have played very many roles with different characters. I wish I could get out of the elegant, beautiful, calm girl. She wronged me a little. At first, I was happy with him and came back and said, “I can play something else,” and this is also the role of the directors. They do not repeat the character of the artist. I would like to put a girl. She doesn’t wear makeup at all, and she lives on the streets and encounters real situations.
