Lebanese Hezbollah announced at dawn on Tuesday that it had carried out an attack using drones that targeted radars and control rooms at the Ramat David air base in northern Israel.

The party said in an official statement, “The Islamic Resistance targeted, with a swarm of assault marches, the radar sites and control rooms at the Ramat David Air Base in northern Israel.”

The party stressed that the operation comes within the framework of “defending its land and people,” stressing that “the resistance is concerned with defending its land and people, especially with the Israeli enemy crossing the borders with its crimes.”

This attack comes at a time when the region is witnessing a widespread military escalation against the backdrop of repeated Israeli raids on Iranian and Lebanese sites, amid fears that the conflict will expand to include multiple fronts.

In turn, the Israeli army issued new warnings to evacuate two buildings in the Haret Hreik and Ghobeiry areas in the southern suburb of Beirut, and also issued evacuation warnings to 53 towns and villages in southern Lebanon.
