An infant was killed by gunfire, at the hands of her brother, a middle school student, who hit her with an incorrect bullet while playing with his father’s gun, inside the village of Al-Kalahin, Qift Center, south of Qena Governorate.
The beginning came when the security services of the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the Qift Police Station, stating that a baby girl had been killed by a gunshot inside the village of Al-Kalahin in the center district.

After the examination, it was found that a one-year-old baby was killed by a gunshot and that the accused was her brother called H, in the first grade of middle school. While playing with his father’s weapon, he hit his sister with an incorrect bullet that killed her in the village of Al-Kalahin, Qift center.
The body was deposited in the morgue of Qift Specialized Hospital at the disposal of the competent authorities, while a report on the incident was drawn up and the relevant authorities were notified to initiate investigations, which assigned the Investigation Unit to investigate the incident and uncover its circumstances.
