The Egyptian Medical Syndicate mourned with great sadness the young doctor, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hakim, who passed away while he was at work in a hospital, while performing his professional and humanitarian duty, at the age of 33 years.

The union confirmed in a statement that the deceased died while performing his medical mission in serving patients, embodying the highest meanings of sincerity and dedication to work, and providing an honorable model for a doctor who continues to perform his humanitarian duty until the last moments.

The union explained that the late doctor was an example of a hardworking doctor dedicated to his work, noting that he passed away leaving behind two children, the eldest of whom was not more than two years old, in an incident that sparked a state of sadness among his colleagues in the medical community.

The union extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, his colleagues and his lovers, asking God to cover him with His vast mercy, to dwell him in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family with patience and solace.

The Medical Syndicate affirmed its appreciation for the great sacrifices doctors make in performing their humanitarian mission, stressing that doctors continue to work in various circumstances in order to provide health care to patients and preserve the health of citizens.
