A press report today, Saturday, provided good news for the Egyptian national team before the next international break, scheduled to begin in March 2026.
According to the French newspaper “L’Equipe”, Mohamed Abdel Moneim is ready to participate in matches during the coming period with the Nice team.
She explained that Abdel Moneim has obtained medical clearance to participate with Nice against one of the French second division teams in a friendly match, in a match scheduled for Wednesday.
Mohamed Abdel Moneim had been absent from the field for more than 10 months after suffering a cruciate ligament injury and then a new ankle injury, which made him miss the Egyptian national team in the African Cup of Nations.
It is noteworthy that the Nice team occupies fourteenth place in the French League table with 23 points.
