Gasoline prices in America are at the highest level since October 2023

The war in the Middle East has choked off supplies from one of the world’s largest oil producing regions, as Iranian attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz have hampered exports from Gulf producers.

The United States has a stock of automobile fuel, as the stock reached about 28.5 days until the end of last week, which is the highest level at this time of the year since 2021. However, prices at gas stations rose in light of the scarcity of the global market, and oil prices also rose sharply due to the war.

Live data indicated that the average retail price of gasoline in the United States rose by about 84 cents per gallon since the United States and Israel attacked Iran at the end of February, to $3.83 per gallon.
