Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, participated with citizens in their Sham El-Nessim celebrations, during an inspection tour of the International Park, where he made sure to be present among families and children, and distributed flowers, sweets, and toys to the children, in a cheerful atmosphere that reflected the spirit of celebration and the great demand of citizens for the parks.

This came in the presence of a number of governorate leaders, including the deputy governors of the southern, eastern, western and northern regions, along with a number of executive officials, in order to monitor the readiness of the parks and their reception of visitors during the spring holidays.

The Governor of Cairo stressed the need to provide all means of comfort to citizens inside gardens and parks, while maintaining general cleanliness, noting that bags designated for collecting waste were distributed to visitors, to encourage them not to throw garbage randomly and to preserve the civilized appearance.

The governor stressed on neighborhood heads to raise the maximum level of preparedness and intensify field campaigns throughout the day, to ensure the best level of services are provided to citizens during the celebration period.

He also directed the Health Directorate, in coordination with the Directorates of Supply and Veterinary Medicine, to intensify monitoring and inspection campaigns on markets, especially places selling fresh and processed meat, poultry and fish, in addition to bakeries and outlets selling food commodities, to ensure the quality and suitability of the products offered in order to preserve public health, while taking legal measures against violators.

The Governor of Cairo explained that the governorate’s central operations room works 24 hours a day to receive citizens’ complaints and deal with them immediately, through the two hotlines 15496 and 114, to ensure rapid response to any emergency during the celebrations.
