The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Fayoum launched intensive campaigns on a number of car fueling stations in the city of Fayoum, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Fayoum, to intensify campaigns and periodic follow-up on gas stations, to ensure the availability of petroleum products, after moving their prices.

Engineer Juma Abdel Hafeez, Director of the Supply and Trade Directorate, explained InteriorThe campaigns included gas stations: the Petroleum Cooperative Society, Misr Petroleum, Exxon Mobil, and Taqa, in the city and center of Fayoum in the areas of: Al-Masala, Al-Hadqa, Mustafa Kamel and Al-Warsha Streets, the Ring Road, Ahmed Shawqi and Al-Nabawi Al-Muhandis Streets, the Najda station, the extension of the Ring Road, and the Media Village.

He added that the inspection campaigns at gas stations aim to ensure the availability of all types of petroleum products – gasoline, diesel, and natural gas – and to review the balances and ensure that there are no obstacles in shipping operations, and to communicate directly with petroleum companies to increase the quantities coming to the stations, pointing out that petroleum company officials reported that all petroleum products will be pumped and shipped in full of their prescribed quotas to ensure that all citizens’ needs are met.

The Governor of Fayoum stressed on supply officials, local units of centers and cities, and all relevant parties, to intensify monitoring campaigns on gas stations to confront any attempt to monopolize petroleum products after increasing prices, or to exploit citizens in any way, and to take the necessary legal measures against violators.

Ghoneim appealed to citizens to immediately report any violations related to increasing the prescribed transportation tariff prices, or tampering with fuel prices, noting that the governorate’s emergency room is held at the National Emergency Network control center 24 hours a day, and the National Emergency Network control center numbers have been allocated, 2168041, 2168042, and 2168043, and the hotline 114, to report violations and take the necessary legal measures regarding them. Violators.
