Egypt Gas Company announced the features of its expansion plan for the year 2026, which aims to continue implementing the national delivery project Natural gas for homesWith the expansion of new cities and modern urban areas, in addition to completing the implementation of major national projects and energy infrastructure projects in various governorates of the Republic.

Delivering natural gas to about 293 thousand customers

The company explained that it seeks, during the next year, to deliver natural gas to about 293,000 customers within the scope of its work areas, in addition to carrying out delivery work to about 32,000 customers in the work areas of its sister companies, bringing the total targeted customers to 325,000 customers during the year 2026.

Within the framework of its plan at the governorate level, the company in Menoufia Governorate aims to complete gas delivery to home customers and municipal bakeries in 27 major cities and their affiliated villages, with the start of work implementation in 12 new cities.

In Qalyubia Governorate, it also plans to complete connections in 20 major cities, in addition to expanding into 13 new cities.

In Gharbia Governorate, the company continues to complete delivery work in 29 major cities, with implementation beginning in 5 other cities, while in Dakahlia Governorate, it aims to complete work in 24 villages, and begin implementing projects in 14 new major cities.

As for Upper Egypt, “Egypt Gas” is working to complete connections in Luxor Governorate within 5 major cities, with work starting in two additional cities, while implementing gas connection projects in 4 cities in Aswan Governorate.

At the level of major governorates, the company continues to complete delivery work in the Al-Marj area in Cairo Governorate, in addition to the Amriya and King Mariout areas in Alexandria Governorate, and is also completing work in the new city of Salhiya in Sharkia Governorate.

In the context of supporting national projects, the company continues to implement gas delivery work within the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” in a number of regions, especially in Menoufia Governorate and the governorates of Upper Egypt, led by Luxor and Aswan.

The company’s plan also includes completing natural gas work within the New Administrative Capital, where networks and customer services are being implemented in a number of residential neighborhoods, including R2, R3, R6, and R7, in addition to the Presidential District and the Strategic Leadership District, as well as a number of residential projects (compounds).

These moves come within the framework of Egypt Gas’s strategy to enhance the spread of natural gas services, support the state’s plans for urban expansion, and improve the quality of energy services provided to citizens in various parts of the Republic.
