The management of the Multi-Theatrical Spaces Festival, organized by the Academy of Arts and held under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, announced the postponement of the new session of the festival, which was scheduled to be held during next April, to be held on its new date from November 1 to 10, 2026.
This decision comes in light of the current events in the region, and their direct impacts on a number of participating countries, whether at the level of travel or band engagements and performances, which prevented ensuring full and effective participation befitting the nature of the festival and its international vision.
The festival’s management confirms that this decision came in order to maintain the artistic and organizational level to which the festival’s audience is accustomed, as well as to ensure a broader and more diverse participation of Arab and international groups, in order to achieve the festival’s goals of providing a rich theatrical experience that reflects the diversity and integration of creative spaces.
The festival management will invest the postponement period in strengthening the artistic program and expanding the scope of cooperation with international partners, in a way that contributes to presenting an exceptional session worthy of the festival’s position on the map of theatrical events.
The festival management thanks all the participating teams, partners, and the generous audience for their understanding and continued support, stressing its commitment to presenting a distinguished session that keeps pace with their aspirations and befits the name of the festival.
