Major General Imad Kadwani decided, Governor of MinyaClasses will be suspended tomorrow, Thursday, in all public and private schools and Al-Azhar institutes within the governorate, due to bad weather conditions, in order to preserve the security and safety of students.

This came in the wake of the governorate being exposed to a dust storm and a wave of bad and unstable weather, as the governor directed to raise the maximum level of preparedness in all executive agencies and local units, to confront the repercussions of the weather condition.
The governor stressed the necessity of activating the operating rooms around the clock, and continuous coordination with all concerned authorities to follow weather developments, and take immediate measures to deal with any emergency, in order to preserve the safety of citizens.
The heads of local units were also tasked with raising the degree of readiness of rapid intervention equipment and ensuring the readiness of emergency teams, while reviewing lighting poles, banners and advertisements on the streets in anticipation of strong winds, in addition to monitoring the condition of the roads to ensure regular traffic movement.
The governor appealed to citizens to be careful during periods of bad weather, and to adhere to preventive guidelines, especially vehicle drivers, while reducing movement except when absolutely necessary, in order to preserve their safety.
He stressed that the governorate is closely following the situation, and will deal decisively with any repercussions resulting from bad weather conditions, to ensure the safety of citizens and the continued regularity of services.
