A young man and an elderly woman suffered separate second-degree burns following an outbreak a fire Resulting from a gas leak in a fish grill oven, in the village of Al-Bajlat, affiliated with Minyat Al-Nasr Center in Dakahlia Governorate, and they were transferred to Minyat Al-Nasr Central Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.

The Director of Dakahlia Security had received a notification from the Director of Criminal Investigation, stating that a signal had been received from Minyat al-Nasr Central Hospital to receive burn victims, alleging that a fire had broken out inside a house as a result of a gas leak during food preparation.

Minyat al-Nasr police station investigation officers moved to the location of the report, and upon examination it was revealed that the fire broke out suddenly as a result of a gas leak in the oven, which resulted in the injury of those present at the scene, namely: Muhammad Khaled Abdel Salam Faraj Allah, 20 years old, resident of the village of Al-Bajlat, suffering from second-degree burns to the face, hands, and legs, and Umm Kulthum Abdel-Al Awad, 70 years old, residing in the same village, suffering from second-degree burns to the face, back, hands, and legs.

The necessary report on the incident was prepared, and the competent authorities were notified to initiate investigations.
