Within the framework of the directives of Major General Tariq Rashid, Governor of Sohag, and in the interest of serving and comforting citizens, Ahmed Al-Shatouri, head of the local unit of the center and city of Tahta, continued the work of distributing butane gas pipes in various areas of the city and its affiliated villages, in coordination with the supply and concerned authorities.

During the day, Tahta witnessed the distribution of about 4,650 stove tubes, including the areas of Qibli al-Balad, Al-Salam Mosque, Banhu Road, Al-Sa’a Square, and the Abu Al-Hawa area, in addition to a number of villages and hamlets, including Nazlat Al-Qadhi, the mother village of Shatoura village, and the Al-Sawamah and Al-Khazandariyah hamlets of the Al-Sawamah West Village Council.
The city president confirmed that follow-up work would continue around the clock, in coordination with the concerned authorities, to ensure the regularity of the distribution process and the arrival of butane gas pipes to those entitled to them, stressing the intensification of efforts to meet the needs of citizens and reduce the burdens on them.
