A White House official said that it may take some time for ceasefire orders to reach field units of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which explains the continuation of some missile attacks despite the declaration of a cessation of war.
The official indicated, according to Axios, that the delay in transmitting instructions to the elements deployed on the ground is expected in such circumstances, especially with the complexities of communications and military deployment.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Home Front reported that explosions sounded in central Jerusalem after monitoring the launch of missiles from Iran.
The Israeli Home Front announced that it had detected missile launches from Iran towards central Israel.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that a building was hit in the city of Petah Tikva and shrapnel fell in the city of Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv.
Earlier, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the bombing of a number of cities in the occupied territories with missiles Cluster Kharmshar type and witness marches in response to targeting the main bridge of the city of Qom.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s announcement comes minutes after US President Donald Trump’s statement of his approval of a two-week ceasefire and a halt to strikes on Iran.
