Egyptian football fans are awaiting the date of the friendly match between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, which will bring together the two teams this evening, as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

At 7:30 pm today, the Egyptian national team will be the guest of its counterpart, the Saudi national team, in a match hosted by Al-Enmaa Stadium (the Radiant Jewel) in Jeddah.
The Egyptian national team seeks to present a strong football performance against the Saudi national team in tonight’s friendly match, and culminate in this display by achieving a victory over the Saudi national team in the latter’s stadium and among its fans.
The Egyptian national team has been in a closed camp in Cairo since last Sunday, and the Egyptian national team delegation left Cairo at noon the day before yesterday, Wednesday, heading to Jeddah, where the national team held two training sessions in the coastal city in preparation for the friendly match with Saudi Arabia.
In addition to the friendly match with Saudi Arabia scheduled for tonight, the Egyptian national team will play another heavy-caliber friendly match that will bring it together with the Spanish national team in the Spanish city of Barcelona next Tuesday evening, at the end of the Egyptian national team camp.
The friendlies of Saudi Arabia and Spain come within the framework of the Egyptian national team’s preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals, which begin in mid-June, and will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The Egyptian national team will compete in the next edition of the World Cup in Group Seven, which also includes the teams of Belgium, Iran and New Zealand.
The Egyptian national team delegation is scheduled to leave Jeddah tomorrow, Saturday, on a private plane heading to Barcelona, in preparation for the friendly match between Spain.
