The Ministry of Health and Population announced that the medical, administrative and technical teams affiliated with the Central Administration for Critical and Urgent Care are currently conducting field visits to 37 hospitals in 11 governorates, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, to closely follow up on the field of the comprehensive medical insurance plan for Eid al-Fitr celebrations, in order to ensure the readiness of emergency departments, intensive care, nurseries, blood banks, and crisis and disaster stores, and to ensure that all aspects of emergency and urgent medical care are provided to citizens with the highest levels of quality. And efficiency.

Availability of medical supplies and medications

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, indicated that these teams work in full coordination with the critical and urgent care departments in the health affairs directorates in the governorates, as they determine the extent of actual readiness, ensure the availability of medical supplies and medicines, the regularity of work progress, and provide medical services to patients in an optimal manner, while raising the degree of preparedness in all health facilities to confront any emergency during the days of Eid.

Dr. Peter Wagih, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Medical Affairs, noted the importance of complete preparation and careful implementation of the medical insurance plan for the Eid al-Fitr holiday, while monitoring the efficiency of operation in critical departments and enhancing the speed of response to cases that require urgent intervention, ensuring the continuity of providing medical service with efficiency and high quality in all governorates of the Republic.

For his part, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sadafi, Head of the Central Administration for Critical and Urgent Care, confirmed that the hotlines 137 and 16474 will continue to operate 24 hours a day to quickly coordinate and transfer critical cases and support immediate communication between the concerned authorities, which strengthens the critical and urgent care system and achieves rapid and effective intervention to serve patients.

The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed the continuation of field and periodic follow-up work in all health facilities, ensuring the highest levels of readiness and readiness in all governorates of the Republic, and ensuring the safety and reassurance of citizens during the blessed Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
