The Egyptian Stock Exchange decided that the next Sunday and Monday, April 12 – 13, 2026, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the glorious Easter and Sham El Nessim holidays, with work resuming on the morning of Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Disruption of work on the stock exchange on Sunday and Monday
Earlier, the Central Bank issued a decision to suspend the work of all banks operating in Egypt on Sunday and Monday, April 12-13, 2026, on the occasion of the glorious Easter and Sham El-Nessim holidays.
He explained that it was decided that work would resume on the morning of Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
