
Within the framework of preparations to receive the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, and under the directives of Dr. Hani Alla, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni Suef, Dr. Iman Safwat, Director of the Pharmacy Department, held an expanded meeting with the senior pharmacists in the general and central hospitals, in the presence of Dr. Hager Hamdan, Director of Pharmaceutical Inspection, and Dr. Taha Mohamed, Director of Pharmaceutical Supply.
During the meeting, the Director of the Pharmacy Department stressed the importance of regular 24-hour shift work within hospital pharmacies, stressing the necessity of availability of medicines, serums and medical supplies, to ensure full readiness to provide health services to citizens during the Eid days.
The meeting also discussed the most prominent observations monitored by the pharmaceutical inspection teams during the periodic inspection, where emphasis was placed on quickly avoiding negatives and raising the efficiency of performance within the pharmaceutical system, which contributes to improving the quality of medical services provided.
This comes within the plan of the Beni Suef Health Directorate to raise the maximum level of preparedness in all health sectors, to ensure the provision of safe and integrated medical service to citizens during the holiday period.
