It happened Bank of Egypt – The Engineering Sector – received the ISO 41001:2018 certificate in the field of facilities management and maintenance systems, from the American Global Inter Certification Foundation through its agent, GIC Egypt for Certification, with the aim of enhancing the quality system and raising the level of institutional readiness, after the bank passed comprehensive audits and reviews to verify the compatibility of internal policies and procedures with approved international specifications and standards, in continuation of the path of excellence and efficiency, and a commitment from the Bank of Egypt to apply the highest international standards in its various operations.

Banque Misr obtains ISO 41001:2018 certification for facilities management and maintenance systems

Hossam El-Din Abdel Wahab, Executive Vice President of Banque Misr, received the certificate from Dr. Mohamed Amr Abu El-Ela, General Manager of GIC Egypt for Certification, in the presence of Engineer Hani El-Desouki, Advisor to the Minister of Industry for Specifications, Quality and Accreditation, Engineer Ihab Maher, Head of the Engineering and Real Estate Affairs Sector at Banque Misr, and a group of the bank’s leaders and the body granting the certificate.

In this context, Hossam El Din Abdel Wahab, Executive Vice President of Banque Misr, stated that Banque Misr’s obtaining the ISO 41001:2018 certificate, which is the approved international standard for facilities management systems, aims to organize and manage facilities and maintenance activities in accordance with the best international practices, ensuring operational efficiency, asset sustainability, and improving the quality of services provided.

He added that the implementation of this system reflects the bank’s commitment to adopting modern and effective systems in facilities management and maintenance, in a way that supports achieving strategic objectives and raising the efficiency of institutional performance.

He also praised the efforts made and the continuous development of work systems and procedures in the engineering sector and all sectors of the bank, ensuring the optimal use of resources, the application of international standards for management systems, and reflecting institutional awareness of the importance of comprehensive quality, good governance and sustainability.

He stressed that Banque Misr’s obtaining this prestigious international certificate reflects the confidence of customers, whom the bank places at the top of its priorities and partners in its success, and its commitment to providing advanced banking services that achieve sustainable growth that supports the process of economic development.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Amr Abu El-Ela, General Manager of GIC Egypt for Certification, stated that granting the ISO 41001:2018 certificate to the engineering sector at Banque Misr came after comprehensive review and auditing processes, stressing that the implemented system reflects high operational efficiency, a professional work methodology, and clear support from senior management.
