The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media sites, which included two people riding a “caro” vehicle stealing a sewage cover in Assiut.

Upon examination, it was revealed that no reports had been received in this regard, and it was possible to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the incident (two workers “with criminal information” – residents of the Dayrout Police Station). They were in possession of the “confiscated sewage cover” and the vehicle used to commit the incident, and upon confronting them, they confessed to committing the incident as referred to, and legal measures were taken.
In a separate context, the security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a comment supported by a video clip circulated on social media sites, which included that the person who posted it was harmed by someone stealing some belongings from inside his car when it stopped in one of the areas in Alexandria.
Upon examination, it was found that on March 4 of this year, the Dekheila Police Department in Alexandria was informed by a driver – a resident of the Al-Lubban Police Department, that while he was unloading some sweets from the car while driving a “transport” in front of one of the shops in the department, a person ignored him and stole his “mobile phone – a sum of money” from inside the car he was driving.
It was possible to identify and arrest the perpetrator of the incident, an unemployed man with “criminal information” – a resident of the Moharram Bey Police Department in Alexandria. When confronted, he confessed to committing the incident as referred to, and with his guidance, the stolen items were seized. Legal measures were taken.
