An elderly man ended his life by hanging inside his home in one of the villages of Tala Center in Menoufia Governorate, after going through a bad psychological state as a result of his illness.
Details of the incident
The security services of the Security Directorate received MenoufiaA notification was received from the warden of Tala Police Station, stating that a report had been received that the body of an elderly person had been found dead inside his room. Immediately, a security force moved to the location of the report to examine the circumstances of the incident.
Upon moving and examination, it was found that a 76-year-old elderly man residing in one of the villages in the Tala Center had been killed. He had ended his life by hanging himself using a keffiyeh inside his room at home, before his family found him dead.
Upon questioning his family, they confirmed that he was suffering from a bad psychological state due to the illness, and they denied the existence of any criminal suspicion in the incident. A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the competent investigation authorities were notified, which began investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident.
