He got a stadium Alexandria The sports stadium received the ISO 9001 certificate for the quality management system, becoming the first stadium in the African continent to obtain this certificate in the field of quality management.

This came as a culmination of the efforts to develop the administrative and structural work system within the stadium, and in order to ensure compatibility with international quality systems, as one of the companies accredited by the National Accreditation Council (IGAC) and the International Accreditation Council (IAF) conducted the final review and granted the stadium the ISO 9001 quality certificate after ensuring that all the required requirements and standards were met.
In a related context, and in order to ensure consistency with the state’s vision for sustainable development, the stadium management prepared a sustainable development report for Egypt’s Vision 2030, which was reviewed by a specialized advisory committee to ensure its compatibility with the requirements of the United Nations and the Egyptian Vision for Sustainable Development.
The stadium management, in implementation of the directives of the Governor of Alexandria, has also begun taking the necessary measures to qualify and obtain the ISO 45001 certificate for occupational safety and health systems, ensuring the provision of the highest safety standards for workers and the public, and promoting a safe work environment in accordance with international standards.
The Governor of Alexandria expressed his pride in the Alexandria Stadium obtaining these international certificates, which are among the strong elements of support within the file that is being submitted to the international and African federations, with the aim of restoring hosting and holding international matches on the stadium’s grounds, noting that the committees that visited the stadium from those federations praised its obtaining of the quality certificates, and considered this one of the most prominent strengths supporting the accreditation file.
This comes within the framework of Alexandria Governorate’s strategy to develop sports assets and facilities, and raise their administrative and technical efficiency, thus enhancing the position of the Bride of the Mediterranean as a regional and international sports destination.
