Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi heads to the Swiss city of Davos to participate in the work of the World Economic Forum, which will be held from January 19 to 23, 2026 under the slogan “The Spirit of Dialogue.”

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the forum’s agenda includes a series of events in which leaders of countries and heads of international and regional organizations participate, as well as representatives of major private sector institutions. The forum sessions will address topics related to enhancing international cooperation, supporting global prosperity paths, expanding reliance on technology and innovation as a driver of growth, as well as investing in human capital.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesman, indicated that Mr. President will meet, on the sidelines of the forum’s activities, with US President Donald Trump, to discuss the latest regional and international developments of common interest, and to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Egypt and the United States in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and enhances regional and international stability.
