The Board of Directors of Al Jazira Sports Club received Sultan bin Hamad Al Sheikh, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Boxing Federation, General Director of the Mike Tyson Boxing Club, and a representative of the Saudi Boxing Federation, headed by Counselor Turki Al Sheikh.
The Board of Directors of Al Jazira Club held an iftar party in honor of receiving Sultan bin Hamad Al Sheikh, who was there Ali Shaaban, Vice President of Zamalek Club, Major General Dr. Ahmed Rashad, Director of Sports Activities at Al-Jazira Club, and the Club’s Boxing Committee headed by Engineer Tariq Al-Najjar.

The breakfast ceremony also witnessed the presence of Captain Louay Dabas, General Supervisor of Combat Games at Al-Tersana Club and President of the Egyptian Association of Professionals in Egypt and North Africa, Egypt’s Olympic Champion Captain Mohamed Reda, Major General Magdy El-Lozy, President of the Egyptian Boxing Federation, and Dr. Nadia Abdel Hamid, Executive Director of the Egyptian Boxing Federation.
The breakfast ceremony and Sultan bin Hamad Al Sheikh’s reception were also attended by the world champion and professional Saudi boxer, Ziad Al-Mayouf, who is a member of Al-Jazira Sports Club, and the rising champion in the professional world, Nader Takla.
On the sidelines of his visit to Al-Jazira Sports Club, Sultan bin Hamad Al-Sheikh, accompanied by Ali Shaaban and Engineer Tariq Al-Najjar, inspected a number of sports facilities in the club, including the gym and the Center Court, which he expressed his admiration for. Cooperation was also discussed in holding international boxing championships and events in the future in cooperation with Al-Jazira Sports Club as it is an ambassador for Egyptian sports.
