Dr. Ahmed Jaballah, the doctor for the first football team at Al-Ahly club, said that Aliou Dieng, the team’s player, suffered a bruise in the hand during his participation in the Esperance match that was held yesterday evening at the Hamadi Al-Aqrabi Olympic Stadium in Brades.
Al-Ahly’s doctor also explained, during statements to the official website of the Al-Ahly club, that Ahmed Mostafa Zizo suffered a severe bruise in his ankle, pointing out that the duo, Diang and Zizo, will undergo a medical examination after returning to Cairo to check on their condition before the team’s training.
Al-Ahly will meet Esperance of Tunisia on March 21 at Cairo Stadium in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
