The Football Association continues its preparations for the Egyptian national team’s expected trip in a few days to Saudi Arabia and Spain to play two friendly matches against the two countries’ national teams on March 27 and 31, respectively.

Cairo 24 learned that the Board of Directors of the Football Association decided to assign Representative Ahmed Helmy Al-Sharif, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, to assume the presidency of the Egyptian national team delegation on the trips to Saudi Arabia and Spain.
The Egyptian national team began its camp this evening at the headquarters of the National Teams Center in 6th of October City, and the national team delegation will leave for Saudi Arabia next Wednesday, in preparation for facing the Saudi national team next Friday evening in Jeddah.
The Egyptian national football team, led by Captain Hossam Hassan, the technical director, conducted the team’s first training in preparation for the matches between Saudi Arabia and Spain, scheduled for March 27 and 31, as part of the preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
Earlier, Ibrahim Hassan, director of the Egyptian first national football team, said in official statements that the team will train at eight o’clock in the evening today, Sunday, at the National Teams Center in preparation for the matches between Saudi Arabia and Spain scheduled for March 27 and 31 as part of the preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
The Egyptian national team is training at the National Teams Center until traveling on March 25 to Jeddah to face Saudi Arabia, then traveling on the 28th to face Spain.
