revealed Security services In the Ministry of Interior, as part of uncovering the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media, it included a motorbike driver assaulting a traffic person to prevent him from riding it on the sidewalk in the Gesr al-Suez area in Cairo.
Security reveals the circumstances of the video of the assault on a policeman during the organization of the movement in the Suez Bridge
Upon examination, it was revealed that on the 11th of this month, while a police officer from the General Directorate of Traffic in Cairo was directing traffic on the road coming from the Suez Bridge and Alf Maskan towards the beginning of the Helmiya Bridge, he was surprised by a motorcyclist riding up the sidewalk accompanied by another, and while the aforementioned police officer was stopping them, one of them assaulted him by pushing him with his hands, as shown in the video clip.
The two mentioned persons were arrested (unemployed – residing in Cairo – and it was found that neither of them had a driving license), and the motorcycle was seized (with expired licenses). When they were confronted, they confessed to committing the incident as referred to in order to prevent them and the motorcycle from being arrested. The motorcycle was seized, and legal measures were taken against them.
