Sudanese club Al Hilal was previously eliminated from the African Champions League competitions for the current season by its Moroccan counterpart, Nahdet Berkane, in the quarter-finals of the tournament. However, the club complained to its Moroccan counterpart to CAF due to the participation of Hamza Al-Moussawi, who had previously been proven to be taking steroids.

According to what Al Hilal Sudanese announced in its official statement, CAF refused The complaint he filed related to his match against RS Berkane, after he was fielded Hamza Al-Moussawi, who is arrested for doping.

In its statement, Al-Hilal Al-Sudanese also stressed its continuation in its just cause, and escalating the complaint to the Appeals Committee of the Confederation of African Football, in order to obtain its rights in the case.

The Sudanese club, CAF, had previously demanded that the result of the match as a whole be reconsidered before the semi-final match against the Royal Army, threatening to resort to the International Sports Court to obtain its rights.

CAF has already decided to stop Hamza Al-Moussawi was banned from practicing any sporting activity for two years, after testing positive for doping, which was previously withdrawn from him following Nahdet Berkane’s match against Pyramids in the current season of the African Championship.

It is worth noting that RS Berkane is scheduled to play its decisive match against its counterpart, the Royal Moroccan Army, in the semi-finals of the African Champions League in the first leg, which will be held tomorrow evening, Saturday.
