Engineer Iman Ahmed Abbas visited the head of the Central district In Alexandria Service parking at Misr Station, today, Thursday, to ensure that drivers adhere to the tariffs set following the recent amendments.

Abbas stressed adherence to the official tariff and hanging banners in visible places. She also spoke with a large number of passengers and drivers, stressing full compliance with the established tariff and reporting any violations.

The district head stressed the follow-up and monitoring of parking lots and gas stations and taking decisive legal measures against any violations, ensuring complete discipline and protecting the rights of citizens.

For her part, Engineer Zainab Al-Sayed, Head of the West Alexandria District, in the presence of the District Secretary General, inspected the gas stations, passenger parking lots, and the new parking lot to monitor the availability of fuel and compliance with the new tariff.

Al-Sayed stressed placing stickers with the tariff value on the car windows, in addition to making sure to post signboards indicating the new tariff and complaint numbers in the event that any driver violates the new tariff.

The district president also listened to a number of citizens in the parking lots to ensure that drivers were adhering to the new tariff and not being exploited.

The district president stressed intensifying oversight of parking lots and gas stations and ensuring that drivers are committed to collecting the prescribed fare and that no car leaves the parking lot without a sticker with the new tariff and route to prevent exploitation of citizens.

This came as part of the continuous monitoring and follow-up of parking lots and gas stations to ensure compliance with the new tariff and prevent exploitation of citizens.

In a related context, Engineer Gamal Ammar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade in Alexandria, launched tours of automobile supply stations to follow up on the circulation of subsidized petroleum products and their availability, announce their prices, and ensure that there are no accumulations or congestion.
