The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a post supported by video clips that was circulated on social networking sites, which included that a person working outside the country was harmed by his brothers attacking his residence, assaulting his mother and wife, and forcing them to leave their residence in Damietta.

Upon examination, it was found that on the 7th of this month, the wife and mother of the person in charge of the publication were notified to the Kafr Saad Police Station in Damietta that they had been harmed by two half-brothers who were workers – residing in the station’s department – for insulting them and destroying the contents of their residence due to disputes between them over inheritance.
The two defendants were arrested, and when they were confronted, they admitted to committing the incident as indicated for the same disputes. Legal measures were taken and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
