The Mansoura Center Road Corniche in the direction of Aja witnessed the completion of the work of the first phase of the development project along a full kilometer, starting from the Sandoub Bridge to Minyat Sandoub, as part of the ongoing investment plan projects, in a step aimed at raising the efficiency of one of the vital axes and improving the visual image of the city.
Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, announced the completion of the work, stressing that the project comes within a comprehensive plan to modernize the infrastructure and improve the cultural appearance of the center and city of Mansoura, with full commitment to the technical specifications and specified time programs.
The governor stressed that the investment plan projects represent a priority, especially those that affect the daily lives of citizens, noting the continued field follow-up to ensure the quality of implementation and speed of completion, and not allowing any delay in service projects.

For his part, accountant Mohamed Abdel Baqi, head of the Mansoura Center and City, explained that the first phase included developing and beautifying the Mansoura/Aja Road Corniche with a length of 1,000 meters, starting from the exit of the Lower Sandoub Bridge until the beginning of the Minyat Sandoub Bridge, as it is one of the main arteries that connects the city to a number of centers.
The works included installing a marble fence and spokes to secure the Corniche and provide safety factors for passers-by, in addition to implementing decorative lighting poles to improve the level of night lighting, which contributes to enhancing visibility and raising the efficiency of the road, as well as giving an aesthetic and civilized character to the area, especially during the evening periods.
Mansoura Corniche is one of the areas that witnesses significant daily traffic, which makes its development an important step to improve traffic flow and create a more organized and safe space for citizens, as part of the governorate’s efforts to raise the level of services and improve the quality of life within cities and centers.
