A source explained that Smouha Club wants to extend the contract of its current technical director, Ahmed Abdel Aziz, for two seasons, after the performance he is providing with the team in the current season in the Egyptian Premier League competition for the 2025-26 season.

The source confirmed to Cairo 24 that the Smouha Club management wants to extend the contract of Ahmed Abdel Aziz, the first team coach, for two seasons, after the performance he is providing with the team this season.
The source added that the club’s management had confidence in the coach since he took over the job in June 2025.
The source added that the coach rejected many offers from teams in the Premier League such as Modern Sport and Ismaily during the recent period, which confirms his commitment to the Alexandria team.
The source concluded that the club management has great confidence in the technical director and appreciates him, not only after the strong performance against Al-Ahly in the last round of the league, but also for his performance in general with the team.

Smouha participates in seventh and last place in the group competing for the Premier League title, with 31 points from 22 matches. The team was able to win 8 matches, draw 7, lose 7, score 22 and concede 17 goals.
