The security services in the Qena Security Directorate were able to arrest two people in a video incident circulated after it was published on the Cairo 24 website, showing two people assaulting a citizen inside a butane cylinder warehouse in the Qift center, south of Qena Governorate.
The Qena Security Directorate received a notification from Qift Police Station, stating that a report had been filed by a citizen accusing two people of assaulting him inside a pipe warehouse in the center’s district.

After the examination, it became clear that the victim filmed a video inside the pipe warehouse to prove the presence of cylinders, even though the defendants informed him that they were not provided, so they beat him, as appeared in the video circulating on social media sites.
The accused were arrested, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the competent authorities were notified to initiate investigations, which assigned the Investigation Unit to investigate the incident and uncover its circumstances.
