Within a few hours, the October Gardens area in Giza Governorate witnessed a repeat of a similar incident of a dog attack on a small animal.
This came after a group of stray dogs attacked another child in the street, before a woman was able to save him as soon as he fell among them.
A resident of the area called for help to Cairo 24: The same incident happened again… and we do not know how to live.
The details of the second incident came when a woman quickly intervened to save the child, as the dogs threw a brick from a safe distance, which led to them retreating and the child was able to survive in the last moments.
Residents confirmed that the incident came only hours after a similar incident in the area, which reflects the continued threat of stray dogs to the security of children and passers-by in October Gardens.
They called on the concerned authorities to quickly intervene to limit the spread of stray dogs and to take measures to protect children and residents from such repeated attacks.
The parents stressed the need to be careful and monitor children while they are in the streets, especially in areas that witnessed previous attacks, in order to preserve their safety and lives.
