The Supreme Constitutional Court ruled, in its session held today, Monday, February 16, 2026, headed by Counselor Boulos Fahmi Iskandar, that the decision of the head of the Egyptian Drug Authority No. 600 of 2023 regarding replacing the tables attached to the decision of the President of the Republic with Law No. 182 of 1960 regarding combating drugs and regulating their use and trafficking is unconstitutional.
The court also ruled that the previous and subsequent decisions of the head of the Egyptian Medicines Authority regarding the unconstitutional decision issued regarding amending the tables attached to the President of the Republic’s decision regarding the aforementioned law shall be invalidated.
One of the criminal chambers of the Court of Cassation had referred the aforementioned decision to the Supreme Constitutional Court to decide on the extent of its constitutionality, as it considered it to be constitutionally flawed.

The Cairo Investigation Department found Karwan in trouble after he sent out a public invitation to a friend’s birthday party and did not obtain the necessary licenses. During the recent period, he deliberately held such events for the sake of trending and increasing viewership rates, in addition to the fact that the scenes contained obscene and degrading content and included immoral practices and harassment.

Today, Monday, the Economic Court ruled that TikToker Asma Ismail be imprisoned for 6 months, fined 100,000 pounds, and bailed 10,000 pounds, on the basis of accusing her of publishing videos indecent with public modesty.
The investigating authorities decided earlier to refer TikToker Asmaa Ismail on charges of submitting indecent content and violating the values and principles of society through social media sites.
The referral order revealed that on August 12, 2025, in the Fifth Settlement Police Department in Cairo Governorate, the accused, Asmaa Ismail, published, with the intention of displaying clips offensive to public modesty, by broadcasting inappropriate video clips through her personal account on the social networking site TikTok, with the intention of offending public modesty, as indicated in the investigations.
The referral order added that the accused assaulted the family principles and values in Egyptian society by publishing video clips on her personal page on the social networking site Tik Tok that constituted a violation of those principles and values, through which she showed her charms in light of sexual phrases and innuendos, as indicated in the investigations.

Lawyer Mohamed Rashwan said that the competent investigation authorities had recently begun investigating 35 fans against the background of the riots and vandalism of property that took place in the match between Al-Ahly and the Royal Moroccan Army, at Cairo International Stadium in the CAF Champions League competitions yesterday.
He added, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that the security services arrested 35 fans after the match between Al-Ahly Club and the Royal Army, on charges of rioting and destruction.
