The Investigation Unit of the Barket El Saba Police Station in Menoufia Governorate arrested a worker, after he was accused of firing a bullet from a birdshot weapon at his ex-wife inside the city, due to previous marital disputes, which resulted in her being injured and transferred to the Central Hospital to receive treatment.

Major General Alaa Al-Jahir, Director of Security, received the meeting MenoufiaA notification was received from the warden of the Barkat al-Sabaa Police Station, stating that a report had been received regarding the incident, and Brigadier General Ahmed Khairy, Director of Criminal Investigation, assigned the station’s investigation unit to quickly arrest the accused and present him to the investigation authorities.
Upon moving, examining, and questioning the injured woman, she admitted that her ex-husband was the one who shot her using a birdshot, as a result of previous disputes between them.
After codifying the procedures, the Investigations Unit succeeded in arresting the accused, who was in possession of the weapon used to commit the incident.
A report was drawn up regarding the accident, and the investigating authorities were notified to initiate investigations and uncover the circumstances of the incident, while the necessary legal procedures are being completed, while monitoring the health status of the injured person and checking on her.
