The security services of the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media sites, which included the driver of a transport vehicle driving in the opposite direction in Sohag, endangering his life and the citizens.
A truck driver was arrested for driving in the opposite direction in Sohag
Through examination, it was possible to identify and seize the car shown in the video clip with “expired licenses” and its driver (a driver with “an expired driver’s license” – a resident of the Akhmim Police Station Department).
When he was confronted, he confessed to committing the incident as indicated in order to shorten the route. The car was impounded, and legal measures were taken against its driver.
