The Houthis threaten to join the war

These statements come at a time when the region is witnessing sharp military alignments, as Al-Bukhaiti issued a direct threat to the American side, considering that the United States will be the biggest loser in the end if the current path of escalation continues.

Al-Bukhaiti did not disclose the nature of the expected military movements or the exact timing of any possible escalation, but he indicated that the decision to participate comes in the context of responding to the ongoing developments in the regional arena, which opens the door to the possibility of expanding the circle of conflict in the Red Sea and international shipping lanes.
