Amr Basila confirmed, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education in the Ministry Education, The Ministry of Education is moving forward with the restructuring of the technical and technological education system, within a trend aimed at linking the educational process directly to the needs of the modern labor market.
Basila explained that the development plan depends on broad partnerships with representatives of the private sector and industrial institutions, in addition to cooperation with specialized international bodies, to ensure the preparation of more flexible and modern curricula, capable of keeping pace with rapid developments in various professional fields.
Education: A comprehensive plan to develop technical education and link it to the labor market
He pointed out that the Ministry is focusing greatly on raising the efficiency of teachers, through continuous training and qualification programs, aimed at enabling them to apply modern teaching methods, which will reflect positively on the level of students and their practical skills.
He added that the development is not limited to curricula only, but also includes evaluation mechanisms, as work is underway to modernize the follow-up systems for technological education students, especially with regard to practical training within production sites, to ensure achieving the maximum possible benefit and qualifying graduates capable of competing in the local and international labor market.
