A child was killed in an accident that fell from a height, in the Bandar Tahta district of Sohag Governorate, after he fell from the second floor of a house, resulting in his immediate death, without any casualties.

Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Sohag Security, received a report stating that a child fell from a height in Bandar Tahta, and immediately the relevant authorities were notified to deal with the incident.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Ismail, head of investigations at the Tahta Police Department, and Captain Abdul Rahim Al-Samman, assistant investigator, immediately moved to the site of the accident, and it was found that the child Hamza A., 4 years old, residing in Bandar Tahta, had died, and his body arrived at Tahta General Hospital as a dead body.

Dr. Ahmed Sedira, health inspector, confirmed after conducting a medical examination on the body that there was no criminal suspicion in the accident, and the body was deposited in the morgue of Tahta General Hospital at the disposal of the investigating authorities, which took the necessary legal measures. A report was drawn up on the incident, and the competent authorities were notified to initiate the investigation.
